1880's (c.): Special yellow instructional label 'Postal Notes Tadadi/8as, 1Rs & 2Rs 8as Dak Kahne Me/Hasil Hosaktehai' (in Devanagri - means something like 'India Postal Notes are issued in 8a., 1r., 2r8a. value and is available at Post Offices') on reverse of postal stationery envelope ½a. blue from Calcutta to Jeypore via Ramgarh. Envelope slightly reduced at right but an extremely rare item, only few examples are recorded.
Value Add Taxes (19%) will be added to the hammer price and the buyers premium.

In april 2005 the idea to build a place where collectors, customers and investors from all over the world could meet, was realized.
Since that time both, the Mail Order House and Auction House Gärtner, have been united on 2.700 m2 in the easy accessible building owned by Christoph Gärtner.
Generous viewing and storage rooms, a private auction hall, enough parking space and an underground car park are available.
