1867-68 5C GREEN CONDORS SPECIALIZED COLLECTION. A wonderful olde- tyme collection annotated to a high specialized standard on 17 album pages, of chiefly mint (with & without gum) examples - especially the blocks of 4 & 8, but also used with both postal cancellations & some with fiscal / pen cancels. Firstly there are 6 pages for the 6 different types (A to F) with shades identified within each group; then 4 pages with stamps identified by the various plates (& re-engraved versions of those plates) and plate position with prominent identifying features noted; then 4 pages showing "Prominent Varieties" extensively explained, finally a couple of pages with minor varieties often with plate position and other information.
