Vintage RUMTOPF jar in glazed ceramic made in WEST GERMANY by SCHEURICH company for the storage of fruit soaked in rum, a traditional German way of enjoying summer fruit in the winter, as part of the Christmas celebration. The Rumtopf is an attractive piece of pottery and has certainly a collectible value. It looks great on display and can be used for storing other foodstuffs. This RUMTOPF is model number 826-36 in a nice amphora shape with scrolled handles, hand-decorated with hand painted apple and pears in glossy glaze on a creamy-beige background. Measures approx. 36 cm (14.17”) tall with lid and 28 cm (11.02”) excluding lid and approx. 19 cm (7.48”) in diameter Weights approx. 2.650 kg Marked on the base 826-36, W. GERMANY A nice piece of 1970s retro Kitchenalia preserved in great condition with no chips or cracks.

Vintage pot RUMTOPF en céramique émaillée fabriqué en Allemagne de l'Ouest par la société SCHEURICH pour le stockage de fruits trempés dans du rhum, moyen traditionnel allemand de déguster des fruits d'été en hiver, dans le cadre de la fête de Noël. Le Rumtopf est une pièce de poterie attrayante et a certainement une valeur de collection. Il a fière allure sur l'écran et peut être utilisé pour stocker d'autres denrées alimentaires. Ce modèle RUMTOPF porte le numéro de modèle 826-36. Il présente une belle forme d’amphore avec des poignées en spirale. Il est décoré à la main avec des pommes et des poires peintes à la main, dans un lustre brillant sur un fond beige crème. Mesures env. 36 cm (14,17 po) de hauteur avec couvercle et 28 cm (11,02 po) sans le couvercle et env. 19 cm (7,48 ”) de diamètre Poids env. 2,650 kg Marqué sur la base 826-36, W.
